Melissa Celko
Melissa Celko is a strategic health and well-being consultant, coach, and educator with 30+ years of experience working with organizations across the country. She has extensive non-clinical experience and training in the areas of mental health, well-being, physical activity, nutrition, chronic disease, yoga, meditation, stress reduction, and healthy habits. Melissa has presented nationally on a variety of topics, combining her expertise with the latest research. Every presentation and coaching interaction is an opportunity to inspire and engage participants through conversation, storytelling, and discussion.
Using an upbeat, factual approach delivered with humor and warmth, every session is designed to help individuals move toward empowerment and self-advocacy. Melissa has been a teacher of yoga and meditation for over 25 years. This experience is integrated into many of her presentations, enriching both the experience and the impact. She also infuses her own life experiences as the mother of adult children, caregiver to elderly parents, and someone who has experienced tragedy and life-threatening illness. She lives the same struggles as many and works to continue on the path of health and vitality through life’s challenges, inviting participants to join in.
Most recently, Melissa was the Director of Student Well-Being at Kent State University, and prior to that, she was the Director of Sales and Strategy at the Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute.
Melissa’s certifications include NBC-HWC, CWP, and MHFA, along with a BA and MBA.
